6 Apps That Pay You To Unlock Your Android Phone
If you’ve been using your phone to make money, you’ve probably heard of some apps that will pay you to unlock your smartphone. Today I have a list of 6 apps that do so, but you will need an Android phone for these to work.
These apps will not be a big income, but if you’re happy with a few extra bucks a month, these apps are perfect. All of the apps on this list are legitimate and scam free, but take a look at the details to learn which one is the best for you.
I’ll cover a bit of information about how they work and how much you can expect to earn, but if you have any additional questions just leave me a comment!
How Does Unlock Your Phone Apps Work?
All of these apps differ, but the main process is similar. You’ll download the app in the Google Play Store, once the app is installed it will begin to show you ads when you go to unlock your phone.
You have the option to interact with the ad or swipe it out of the way and proceed with unlocking your phone. From what I’ve heard you do not have to interact with ads to actually earn, but I’m sure you get more of kickback if you do interact with some ads.
Most of these apps pay via PayPal or other methods. Payments are usually made monthly. This is just the general outline of how these apps work, for more detailed information read about each app below!
How Much Can You Really Make?
The big questions with these apps is how much can you really make. Most of these apps report earnings around $20, but from what I’ve found this is not the case. Most of these apps are making members $3-$10 a month.
You’ll see when I go through the list that some say they’ll earn you more, but I haven’t really seen proof of this.
I’d expect to earn around $5 a month for using these apps!

Fronto
Fronto is an app that says they’d like their members to earn $15-$20 a month, but I’m not sure if that’s actually happening. You can cash out via PayPal or Amazon Gift Cards starting at $5, but they do have larger amounts that cost less points.
They do have a referral program that pays you $.50 for every friend that signs up and uses the app.

Perk Screen
You may be familar with the Perk App Family, Perk Screen is just one of the many apps that offer. The cool thing is that all the Perk apps link together, meaning your earnings for unlocking your phone will go into the same account that you earn points for watching videos.
This makes it much easier to reach cash out amounts and get paid faster.

Locket
NO LONGER PAYS YOU TO UNLOCK YOUR PHONE!
I had originally included Locket in this list of apps that pay you to unlock your phone because at one time they did, but now they have an app that is suppose to put information you’re interested in on your home screen.
It’s basically just an app that can give you news of your interests, but they no longer pay you to view the content so skip this app unless it sounds like something you’d be interested in.
Other Ways To Make Money With Apps
If you’re not an Android phone user, these apps won’t help you earn money, and I know some of you will feel like this small income is not worth looking at ads.
Luckily, this is not the only way to make money with apps on your phone. You can see a full list of apps I recommend or check out one app that I’ve made over $500 with!
Just because you can’t make money unlocking your smartphone doesn’t mean you can’t make money with your phone a different way! Check them out and let me know what you think.
