Taps For Money App Review: Is It A Scam?
Taps for Money is an awesome app that lets you earn money just by using the app and tapping your phone. It sounds to good to be true, but it’s actually a legitimate way to get paid and make money with your phone.
First off, the reason they’re able to pay you to tap your phone and use the app is because they show ads inside the app that makes them money. Because of this you’ll earn points towards gift cards!
In this Taps For Money App Review I’ll cover how it works, how you can get paid, the complaints I have with this app, and all the important details of the app.

In this Taps For Money App Review I gave them an okay score. Honestly this is a brain dead way to make money with your smartphone. All you need to do is click and view a couple ads to make money.
With that being said, other members and I do have some complaints with this app. Overall it’s a pretty easy way to make some money, but it would be easier if less ads were shown. If you want an easy way to make some money, while your waiting for someone or just watching TV Taps for Money is an easy way to do so. But there’s some major negatives to this app I’ll cover later.
How Does The Taps For Money App Work?
1) Use the Different Ways to Earn Taps
There’s a few different ways to earn taps from just tapping the screen, watching videos, and a few other options that earn taps but require you to view text ads. The goal is to get to 1 million taps!
2) Reach 1,000,000 Taps
Once you’ve used the app for a while you’ll reach the 1 million taps point. Once you get 1,000,000 you can redeem your taps for cash.
3) Redeem Your Taps For $15 Gift Card
You can redeem 1 million taps for a $15 gift card to PayPal, Amazon, iTunes, or Xbox!
How To Earn With The App?
Tapping The Button
The easiest way to get taps is by literally tapping a button in the middle of the screen. Like I said this a brain dead way to make money with this app. Just continue to tap to earn taps and come closer to 1,000,000 tap mark. Occasionally an ad will come up and you’ll have to close it to continue tapping.
Watering Money Tree
This is very similar to tapping, but you’ll be shown a text ad every time you water the tree. Every time you water the tree you’ll earn 10 taps.
Money Farm
After you water the Money Tree 500 times you’ll unlock the Money Farm. After you unlock the Money Farm, it’s an easy way to get additional taps, but again you’ll be shown an ad every single time you use this method!
Watching Videos
You can watch a 15-30 second video (ad) and earn 225 taps for your time. This is a pretty easy way to earn some taps, but it looks like you do have to interact with the ad to actually earn.
Sharing On Social Media
You can earn taps for sharing on Facebook, Twitter, and texting your friends. You’ll earn 5,000 taps for sharing on social media and 10,000 taps for sharing with 5 friends via text.
How To Get Paid By Taps For Money?
You can redeem 1 gift card once you reach 1,000,000 taps. Right now the available gift cards include PayPal, iTunes, Amazon, and Xbox. All gift cards are for $15. Once you reach the million taps mark you can redeem your gift card my choosing a payment method and entering your email.
It says that payment can take up to a month to receive, because they rely on the ad revenue they receive in the app to pay members. This is a major concern, but there’s been proof of members getting paid, it’s just going to take a while. Also there’s a limit of 1 gift card per user. Meaning you can only cash out one time!!!
Taps For Money App Complaints
Takes Forever To Get Paid
This is by far the worst part about this app. Yes it’s extremely easy to earn taps and the 1 million taps can be reached pretty quickly if you use the app for a few hours. But it can take a month or more to actually get paid.
This brings up the question do they even pay? From what I’ve seen there’s proof of payment out there so I believe they do pay. I’m currently still waiting on payment, it’s been about two weeks.
I’ll update this when I do get paid, but it sucks that you can earn $15 in a few hours, but have to wait a month to get paid!
Limit 1 Gift Card Per Person
The next complaint is at this time there’s a limit of one gift card per person. This means once you cash out you can’t earn any more taps or exchange taps for gift cards again. I guess this because the app is still new, but I wish you could continue to use this app after cashing out.
Tons Of Ads
As you probably guessed, Taps For Money shows a ton of ads, since that’s how they earn all of their income. It’s not bad on the methods that require you to view ads after each tap, but when tapping ads will come up every once in a while.
If you’re just going away at tapping, most likely you’ll accidentally click the ad. Which isn’t a huge deal because you can just go back to the app (with the newest IOS update) but it can be a pain and annoying.
Is The Taps For Money App A Scam?
It seems like Taps For Money is not a scam, but it’s a dead brain way to make money with your phone and it’s not a long term method to make money with apps.
Like I mentioned, at this time you can only cash out once. Yeah it’s an easy $15, but you’ll be waiting a long time for your payment.
I can’t really recommend this app since there’s restrictions and slow payments, but if you’d like to learn more just download the app in your mobile device’s app store to get started.
