SlideJoy App Review: Is Slide Joy A Scam?
The SlideJoy App is an app that you can download to earn money for unlocking your Android phone. That’s right, this app is only available in the Google Play Store, but if you have an android phone, you can get paid to unlock it.
I’ve had many of my Android phone readers asking if this app is a scam. SlideJoy is not a scam, but it may not be as great as it sounds.
In this SlideJoy App Review I’ll cover how it works, how you’re paid, the complaints I have, and if this is a legitimate app to make money on your phone!

In this SlideJoy App review I gave them a good score, mainly because it’s an awesome easy way to make a few extra bucks each month. First off, I want to make it clear that you won’t be earning much from this app. From what I’ve seen most members report making $3-$5 a month. If you feel like seeing an ad on your home screen is worth the few extra bucks then you’ll probably love SlideJoy. If $2-$5 is not enough then you’ll hate it, it’s really that simple.
How Does SlideJoy Work?
The SlideJoy App is very easy to use, all you need to do is head to the Google Play store and download the app, from what I’ve heard joining through Facebook will help you earn more.
Once the app is installed you’ll start to see display ads on your lock screen. You have three options:
- Swipe Left to Learn More
- Swipe Up To See A New Ad
- Swipe Right To Dismiss and Unlock Your Phone
From what I’ve been told you do not have to interact with any ads, you’re paid the same amount no matter what you do with the ad.
Within a few days your earnings will update and you can see exactly how much you’ve earned for that day. From what I’ve been told, people who use their phone throughout the day normally earn the most. Trying to beat the system by continuously unlocking your phone won’t help you and will probably get your account banned.
How Does SlideJoy Pay?
SlideJoy has a few options when it comes to getting paid. You can choose to get paid via PayPal, Square Cash, or donation to charity. There is no minimum cash out amount so you get paid whatever your accumulated earnings are for that month.
There is a 3 month waiting period for your first months earnings, assuming that you continue to use the app you’ll get paid monthly after the waiting period.
Payments are made on the 15th of each month.

Who Can Use The App
You already know that this app is only available on Android smartphones, but it’s also only available in the US. I’ve done my research and this is not available on any tablets that have access to the Google Play Store!
Slow Payments
I’m really happy to see that PayPal is an option for payments and that there’s no minimum cash out amount. But what’s the deal with waiting 3 months for your first payment. If you’re looking for quick cash then SlideJoy is not the right app for you.
If you use this app over time you can make a few extra bucks each month, but don’t count on this income to pay any bills!
Is the SlideJoy App A Scam?
The SlideJoy App is not a scam, it’s actually a completely legitimate Android Smartphone app that pays you to unlock your home screen. The things I really like about this app include PayPal payments and that you don’t have to interact with the ad to earn. The obvious complaint is that you’ll be waiting 3 months for your first payment.
Overall it’s a unique app that I recommend checking out if you have an Android phone and think seeing ads is worth $3-$5 a month.
