SlideJoy App Review: Is Slide Joy A Scam?

SlideJoy App Review ScamLearn More About How To Get Paid To Unlock Your Phone With SlideJoy!The SlideJoy App is an app that you can download to earn money for unlocking your Android phone. That’s right, this app is only available in the Google Play Store, but if you have an android phone, you can get paid to unlock it.

I’ve had many of my Android phone readers asking if this app is a scam. SlideJoy is not a scam, but it may not be as great as it sounds.

In this SlideJoy App Review I’ll cover how it works, how you’re paid, the complaints I have, and if this is a legitimate app to make money on your phone!

SlideJoy App Review

Is SlideJoy A ScamApp: SlideJoy

Type: View Ads

Score: 4/5

In this SlideJoy App review I gave them a good score, mainly because it’s an awesome easy way to make a few extra bucks each month. First off, I want to make it clear that you won’t be earning much from this app. From what I’ve seen most members report making $3-$5 a month. If you feel like seeing an ad on your home screen is worth the few extra bucks then you’ll probably love SlideJoy. If $2-$5 is not enough then you’ll hate it, it’s really that simple.

How Does SlideJoy Work?

SlideJoy App RevewThe SlideJoy App is very easy to use, all you need to do is head to the Google Play store and download the app, from what I’ve heard joining through Facebook will help you earn more.

Once the app is installed you’ll start to see display ads on your lock screen. You have three options:

  1. Swipe Left to Learn More
  2. Swipe Up To See A New Ad
  3. Swipe Right To Dismiss and Unlock Your Phone

From what I’ve been told you do not have to interact with any ads, you’re paid the same amount no matter what you do with the ad.

Within a few days your earnings will update and you can see exactly how much you’ve earned for that day. From what I’ve been told, people who use their phone throughout the day normally earn the most. Trying to beat the system by continuously unlocking your phone won’t help you and will probably get your account banned.

How Does SlideJoy Pay?

SlideJoy App Review RewardsSlideJoy has a few options when it comes to getting paid. You can choose to get paid via PayPal, Square Cash, or donation to charity. There is no minimum cash out amount so you get paid whatever your accumulated earnings are for that month.

There is a 3 month waiting period for your first months earnings, assuming that you continue to use the app you’ll get paid monthly after the waiting period.

Payments are made on the 15th of each month.

SlideJoy App Complaints

Who Can Use The App

You already know that this app is only available on Android smartphones, but it’s also only available in the US. I’ve done my research and this is not available on any tablets that have access to the Google Play Store!

Slow Payments

I’m really happy to see that PayPal is an option for payments and that there’s no minimum cash out amount. But what’s the deal with waiting 3 months for your first payment. If you’re looking for quick cash then SlideJoy is not the right app for you.

If you use this app over time you can make a few extra bucks each month, but don’t count on this income to pay any bills!

Is the SlideJoy App A Scam?

The SlideJoy App is not a scam, it’s actually a completely legitimate Android Smartphone app that pays you to unlock your home screen. The things I really like about this app include PayPal payments and that you don’t have to interact with the ad to earn. The obvious complaint is that you’ll be waiting 3 months for your first payment.

Overall it’s a unique app that I recommend checking out if you have an Android phone and think seeing ads is worth $3-$5 a month.

If you’d like to learn more or to join visit to get started. Again I’ve heard that if you use Facebook to sign up you will earn more!

I personally do not use this app because I don’t find that the small income is worth seeing ads, if you agree with me, check out some of these apps that pay me each month, or see the app that has made me over $500!

Slidejoy is absolutely a scam. I’ve done surveys with screenshot proof since January ’16 and I haven’t received the money. They have apps and sites that offer money to “sign-up” without purchase, yet, the site clearly states you must purchase several items to collect $.30! Thieves and liars

Not worked for me, cashed out some points for a Gift Voucher, a while ago now. Still not received it, absolutely horrendous

I “earned” about $2 total last year. I tried to cash out for a $2 Amazon gift card, and haven’t gotten it (redemption code supposed to be sent in an e-mail). They said it would be about 30 minutes. That was 6 hours ago. I uninstalled the app. It’s a real pain when my phone rings and I can’t swipe Slidejoy out of the way fast enough to answer the phone.

Slidejoy is a good app that will get you a few dollars a month for letting them advertise on your lock screen. Thank you for reading my review. Follow the link to get extra rewards!

Slidejoy is a good app that will get you a few dollars a month for letting them advertise on your lock screen.

You can earn more by completing offers from Supersonic, NativeX, Fyber, TrialPay, Clint Surveys, Adscend Media, Penut Labs, and Buzzvil.

My favorite offer was earning over $10 for playing Mobile Strike for about a month! (through Fyber)

I legitimately earned 3-5 dollars each month for a year. Sometimes I got lucky and did an offer from fyber that gave me $15 for downloading and playing mobile strike til a certain level. Slidejoy is perfect if you dont need money and want to have a couple dollars to spend online. One main thing I do aside from swiping away the ad is to look on fyber everyday for an f2p app that’d give me <3000 carats, sometimes I find one and sometimes I wont.

On a side note, I have used this app for about 2 years and accumulated a total of $70 so far. The money helped out alot when I wanted to treat myself from time to time 🙂

Go with a different app that is similar… I’m about to do the same. I’ve had them for over 2 years. Yes I’ve made a few extra bucks that I didn’t have to work for each month which is great, but I have to wait days, or weeks to even get my gift cards that are supposed to be within “30 minutes”. Even when they say “sent”, they aren’t. I’m still waiting on $15 I was saving to coupon with from 10 days ago, and when I emailed got a response that they wouldn’t be back in the office until November 20th. I’m cashing out and deleting it. I’ll download a similar app and take my chances the cash out is better than this.

Just wanted to let you know that Slidejoy payments have become faster now. I received my PayPal cash within 5 minutes.

theereviewer - January 1, 2018 Reply

I can honestly say that Slide joy is not a scam. The amount of money that you will earn is exaturated though. A few extra bucks each month may not seem like much, but let it add up for a year and it seems to be well worth it.

I like slidejoy so far. I have earned a few dollars but they really make you work hard to get the few you earn. Some of their apps I have issues with. Fyber I have completed 5 offers over a month ago still no payout. When I email them they want me to prove it. Seriously. I am about to get rid of this app as soon as I redeem. They also make you wait a month before you can redeem what you earn. 1000 credits carats is a dollar. Im sure there are other apps that are easier and quicker that actually pay. I rate this app not even 0 but beyond negative numbers
